Critters & Clutter Junk Removal & Dumpster Rentals started with $2K and a beat up Tacoma. Starting small meant we had to earn every job the hard way: do the work right, and let satisfied neighbors tell the next person about us.
Today, Critters & Clutter is positioned as the prominent Eco-Friendly Junk Removal Service of Southern Maryland and the surrounding areas of Southern Maryland.

We are a small, locally owned operation based in Lusby, not a franchise running a national script. The people who quote your job are the people who turn up to do it, and the phone is answered by someone who knows the area rather than a call centre reading from a map. As a local junk removal company we answer our own phone, quote our own jobs and turn up to do them.
That has practical consequences. We know which driveways will take a full-size trailer, which lanes will not, and roughly what a job is worth before we arrive — which is why quotes tend to hold.
We have 133 Google reviews at an average of 5.0. We mention it not as a boast but because it is the clearest evidence available of how jobs actually go: on time, quoted accurately, and finished without anything left behind.
Reviews get asked for after the work is done rather than on the doorstep, which is both the policy and the reason they read the way they do.
Every load is sorted before anything is tipped. Serviceable furniture and household goods go to local donation partners including the Habitat for Humanity ReStore network. Metal, cardboard and electronics are recycled under Maryland Department of the Environment guidance. Only what genuinely cannot be reused goes for disposal.
It is better for the county and it keeps disposal costs down, which is part of why volume pricing works.
