At Critters & Clutter, we do more than just haul your clutter — we give it a second life whenever possible.
Step 1
We partner with local charities and donation centers to give your items a second chance. Couches, clothes and working appliances can find a second home instead of getting buried.
You select the junk you want removed. Anything still usable goes to a local donation partner. Stuff you no longer need doesn’t go to waste.
Step 2
Plenty of what nobody can reuse still has value as material. Scrap metal, old electronics, cardboard, plastic — each one goes where it belongs.
Step 3
Whatever remains after that leaves in our truck and is handled safely and by the rules.
Had us out for a haul-away or a cleanout lately? If so, Critters & Clutter, tell us how the job went.
You get clear, up-front rates on every job — no guesswork and no surprise charges.
Four steps, and only one of them involves you doing anything. You call or send photos. We give you a firm price. You say yes. We load it and go. If you have not used a service like this before, here is how junk removal works with us.
Nothing needs moving to the kerb beforehand, nothing needs bagging, and you do not need to be present for the whole job as long as we can access what is being taken.
Sorting happens before tipping, not after. Usable furniture and household goods go to donation partners such as the Habitat for Humanity ReStore network. Metal, cardboard, electronics and other recoverable material goes for recycling in line with Maryland Department of the Environment guidance. The remainder is disposed of properly.
That order is why volume pricing is possible: the less that reaches landfill, the lower the disposal cost built into your quote.
