Most above-ground pools come out in a day. We drain responsibly, break the structure down into flat sections, and rake out the base so the ground is ready to level and seed.
Pool removal is quoted on diameter, deck attachments and whether the base is coming out. Firm price before we start.
We price by the space your load takes up, so there are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
Yes. Sand, stone and landscape fabric can be cleared so the ground is ready to level and seed.
Most above-ground pools are drained, dismantled and hauled away in a single day.
They’re removed with the pool and disposed of or recycled.
An above-ground pool is usually a single-day job. It gets drained to somewhere sensible rather than straight across a neighbor’s garden, the liner comes out, and the wall, uprights and top rails are dismantled and stacked for loading. Above-ground pool removal is quoted on the pool size and whether the base comes out with it.
Steel-walled pools come apart into flat sections that load tidily. Resin and hybrid frames are lighter but more brittle once they have been in the sun for a decade, so they tend to produce more pieces.
Underneath there is normally sand, stone or a layer of landscape fabric, and often a ring of pavers. Whether that comes out is the difference between a bare circle of dead grass and a piece of ground you can level and seed.
We can strip the base and grade it back, or leave it if you plan to put a shed or a patio there instead. Decide before we quote, because it affects the number.
The pump, filter and plumbing come out with the pool, and the metal is recycled rather than buried. Pool chemicals are the exception — chlorine, shock and acid all need proper handling and go through the county under Maryland Department of the Environment rules rather than in our trailer.
