The most common question, and the answer is no. We drain the tub on site as part of the job. Several hundred gallons is not something you should be trying to move yourself, and a full shell is far too heavy to lift safely.
We also disconnect the power before anything else happens. Hot tubs are usually hard-wired to a dedicated breaker, and that gets isolated properly rather than pulled.
Most tubs are installed before the deck, the gate or the fence goes in around them, which means they will not come back out the way they went in. Rather than take your deck apart, we cut the shell into sections on site and carry it out in pieces.
It is noisier than people expect and takes a couple of hours, but it leaves the deck, the gate and the yard exactly as they were.
The pump, heater, filter housing and cover all go with it. Acrylic shell, timber surround and insulation are separated where practical, and the metal components go for scrap rather than landfill under Maryland Department of the Environment recycling guidance.
